Hi, Just want to share my engine scoring pictures from borescoping each cylinder. since the dealer did it, apparently I could not get better pics of the scorings. just wanna show you. Its a MY17 with build date 11/2016

also got some pics with the valve cover off!

Not good. You will need a new engine. What symptoms did you have on the engine? Also how many miles do you have?

symptomps are stalling at first gear. dealer detected its a leak. trying to bring it back to get rechecked on the scoring and try to push for new engine

You can clearly see the crosshatch and scoring covering the sections of the crosshatch. Hopefully the dummies replace it.

Like the black stains and dots are covering the crosshatch. Crosshatch is the intersecting sets of parallel lines you see which is normal... all those scratches cross each other.
