First let me say this is not a commentary on the quality of their product. I cannot comment on that because the $6,000.00 carbon fiber hood I ordered in the middle of February has not still been delivered (I was promised delivery 2 weeks after paying on full for the hood) from what I understand the quality of what they make is quite good

Lie #1

I was lead to believe that the hood was a part that had been manufactured and delivered to other customers in the past, in fact they sent me pictures of the hood installed on 2 different cars. After 2 months of not having the hood I asked where it was and they told me mine was the first be to be produced and that they had not done the proper speed testing to allow it to be shipped yet.

Lie #2

2 weeks after that they tell me that they did the testing and found "bad Carbon" on my hood and had to start over again and that they would rush it and get it to me in a week. I told them at that point I was done with them, don't make the new hood and refund my money. They said NO. You will have your hood in a week. That didn't happen.

Lie #3

Flash forward to this past Tuesday (more than 3 months after I placed my order) they said they were shipping the hood for delivery guaranteed to be delivered to my installer early Friday the 26th. ( this is important because my wife and I are going on a x country 6 month tour in our RV with the BMW on a trailer behind us leaving on the 27th). The hood never arrives at my installer and G-power never answered my emails or returned my calls trying to find out the status.

We are now on our trip, I have no idea where the hood I paid $6000.00 for is and my installer will not store it for me for 6 months and G-power still has not answered any of my emails (I know they have read them because I tracked the emails).

I am a very good and loyal customer to those companies that treat me well. I have purchased many products from IND if someone from there reads this I'd appreciate an affirmation that I am not some yahoo....

Not mention the the condescending and insulting manner their head of sales has demonstrated during this post. (I am debating whether or not I should cut and paste the horrific emails he sent me during this process)

wow, 6k for trash support. Unacceptable.

Are they a member on here? If so i hope they come and clear this up, ASAP.

I personally would expect a small discount for the inconvenice as well..

I've found that social media works wonders in motivating companies to respond and fix the issue. The potential to lose customers is just too big a risk. I hope they see how your post will crush their reputation. Good luck.

Ugh, sorry dude!

I'd suggest you post a compressed form of this *everywhere* you can think of including Yelp. Then email the list to the Douche Manager with the promise of removing the posts if they refund your money.

if they cant produce product and you paid via etransfer from your bank then thats wire fraud and a federal offense. time to contact a consumer fraud attorney.

If you paid by card, you should be able to get your money back by disputing the charge.

Hopefully you didn't pay 100% up front in cash/check.

Sorry to hear... but why go G Power when the OEM hood goes for as low as $5,000? (primed and unpainted)
