19” V801s *UPDATE: Installed

I got my shipping notification today. VMR V801s in Titanium Black Shadow finish are on their way (car is Mineral Grey). Expected delivery next Thursday

Went with a (F)19x8.5 ET35 and (R)19x9.5 ET35. 12mm spacers are coming as well for the fronts just in case.

Going with a 225/40/19 and 255/35/19. Hopefully I’ll get them installed on Friday.

OP, looking at potentially buying the same rims but was concerned about tire stretch. Look forward to seeing some pics. Do take a few from the side :-). will you be selling your existing rims?

The car is a lease, so I won’t be selling the OEM wheels

Great wheels. By any chance, do you know how much they weigh?

I received the wheels via FedEx today. Packaged very well. Each wheel saran wrapped and “shower capped”, and individually boxed. 2 larger boxes each contained 2 individually boxed wheels.

I unwrapped each wheel, and closely examined for imperfections. None found. I am VERY pleased with the color we chose, and think it will go well with the car.

Appointment set up for Friday. Will be test fitting (with and without 12mm spacers in front), taking pictures, switching the OEM TPMS sensors over, and mounting.

I’ve decided to go with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06:
(F) 225/40/19 and (R) 255/35/19

Here are a couple of pictures.

The V801's weigh about 22.4 and 23.6 pounds for front and rear, respectively.

Got the wheels and tires installed. I’m very happy with how they turned out; however, H&R Springs are in my near future.

Wheel specs:
(F) 19x8.5ET35 with a 12mm spacer installed making them ET23
(R) 19x9.5ET35

Tire specs (Continental Extreme Contact DWS06)
(F) 225/40/19
(R) 255/35/19

Here are a few pictures:

1: Test fitting the front 19x8.5 ET35. With the car on the lift and the suspension drooped, it was close to the shock body but cleared. I’d guess ˝” or so clearance.

2: We added a 12mm spacer.

3: Clearance with the spacer and tire mounted in the front

4: Front tire (from the front)

5: Front tire (from the rear)

6: Rear tire (from the front)

7: Rear tire (from the rear)

8: Front closeup

9: Rear closeup

10: Side profile
