Hi all, I just purchased an ESys Cable and downloaded ESys and psdzdata, but I'm hung up on a couple of things.

1. It appears I need a launcher for ESys, but the popular option is gone and I can't even find a download link for the program itself. What alternatives are out there? Sub-question, I do see that EsysX is a thing, but I don't even know what to buy from their website to get things going.

2. My car is a 2017 F31, but I downloaded the psdzdata 4.16.40 is this recent enough of a file? If not, where can I find the most recent psdzdata?

Thanks! I tried the link for Launcher Premium but there's no download link. However I may have found a workaround here. I already have Bimmercode, which as I understand it is a CAFD coding tool. So can I not just use ESys for my VO coding (which I don't need a token or launcher for) and then just finish the coding in expert mode on Bimmercode?

Do I even need to worry about psdzdata at all if I'm just doing vo coding in Esys?

Bimmercode in expert mode is for all intents and purposes E-Sys, you even use the E-Sys cheat sheets to work in expert mode, so there's no need to have both.

Thanks for confirming this. It turns out I was right about being able to VO Code without an ESys launcher/token, so I was able to do that easily. Then I just switched OBDII connectors and did the CAFD coding so now iDrive Office, EBT, and GFHB are now enabled on my F31! I really want to dig into this more, see what else I can find that could make this car even better.

I'd really like to find a way to make comfort access/closing operate the windows and sunroof as one-touch instead of having to hold the button or the door handle next.

I'm also wondering if there's a bigger notification I can get on NBT when I get a text, like the first so many lines of the message instead of just a notification symbol at the top left like it does now.

You need to install Esys 3.30.1 in order for the Launcher PRO v2.8.1 to work with.
