AC / Ventilation System OFF on Startup

Can someone help me figure this out?

Every single time I start my car, the blower and AC come on. I usually have to turn them off immediately.

Can someone please help me figure out the settings so that it is the exact opposite of the way it is now!

I would like the system to be off every time I start the car. If I want it on, I will turn it on.

I have BimmerCode.

With bimmer code,
Go to Air Conditioning (IHKA)
Air Conditioning on in auto mode (active)
Set it to not active
Also you can change air conditioning setting memory from not active to active
In order to remember your last choice

Problems like this are often because people aren't using the Auto mode correctly, actually, very few people use the Auto mode correctly.

People often think the number is an indication of how fast you want the system to get you to a nice temperature, so if you want the temperature to be a comfortable 22C (71F), and its hotter than that when you get into the car, then people will often switch it down to a really cold temperature like 16C (60F), then mess with the fans to stop it blowing really cold air at them, fighting the auto system as it tries to get them to the extreme temperature they have chosen.

The best way to use this system is to set it to the required temperature, press Auto, then let the auto system do its thing to get you to that temperature as fast as possible.

Is there a video of anyone doing this? I've read every thread on this topic and no matter what I do I can't get my bimmercode app to keep the air conditioning from turning on when the car turns on.

Has anyone made this work? Much appreciated

Most people just conclude that switching off aircon isn't the right thing to do, and leave the Auto system to do its thing
