Beeping horn when locking?

Hi guys,

I had my 16' 340i in for some warranty work, They have updated the car by the looks of it as i had lost all my personal settings.
One thing that’s changed is when I start the car in the morning I’d go inside to wait for it to warm up, before I could lock the door with the car still on, but now when I lock it, the horn beeps twice..., never did it before? Can I turn this off?

Bump...did you ever figure this out?

I have the same issue. 2014 435xi w/ factory Comfort Access and alarm. I had my M-Performance brakes coded recently and now when locking the car with either remote or via comfort access while the car is running results in the horn honking twice (unlock is still silent). Even with the lock/unlock settings in iDrive set to silent with lights only, this still happens.

Anyone know what item this is to code out?

Search for CLM_HORN_AT_SECURE in FEM and set it to nicht_aktiv.

You can easily turn this feature off with Bimmercode.

Alternatively, lock the car with your fob touching the driver's door window and hey presto no horn.
