Coding options

Hi all,

I have been out of coding for a while, and was wondering what options there currently are to code BMWs.

I have a 2014 F30 3 Series which i still code from time to time using esys 3.26.1, but have recently got a 2019 F20 1 Series.

What is the current most reliable version of esys to use, and what is the current up to date lite psdzdata I would use for this 1 Series? I had a look on the forum at newbie guides, however these don't appear to have been updated since 2017... so was wondering if perhaps something has changed? I have also heard of the bimmercode app, however i would prefer saving getting another OBD connector just for that, as i already have everything for esys.

Thank you!
