Cloth Diapers for Drying & Polishing

Has anybody used cloth diapers for drying and polishing?
If so, how do they compare with microfibre cloths?
Thanks

MF only for me. And my girlfriend thinks I am crazy to put more thought on my MF collection than my bath towel.

Either Use 100% Cotton bath towels made in the US, High Quality ones. Then cut off the trim (trim most likely has nylon stitching in it, that includes that decrotive strip about 5 inches from each end of the towel). If not Dftowels are really good if you want Cotton. http://dftowel.com/

MF towels are all not created the same, some are bad for you paint. Good recommendation on Mf towels are either Pakshak http://www.pakshak.com/ or ExcelDetail http://www.exceldetail.com/ If your join http://www.autopia.org/ Pakshak will give you a nice discount, you will have to email him to get the prices.

Thanks Chris

I was a fan of diapers for a while, but have come to believe thick terry-cloth is best for wax or polish removal. Although they are a bit expensive, the medium size Griot Garage towels are *really* nice.

For drying after a wash I bought something new this year and that is a pair of waffle weave microfiber 'Big Blue Towel' from proper auto care. These are phenomenal. One towel will do an entire E90 (minus wheels). I don't usually get real excited about this stuff and have absolutely no affiliation with the vendor, but these blue towels are definitely the real deal.

Where I've found microfiber to work really great is on glass with my favorite glass cleaner which is 3M. Prefer terry cloth to microfiber for removing zaino.

I've been told by the company of " Touch of Class" (Paint protector finish)
That 100% cotton terry and microfiber towels will scratch the car ... which I have always used prior to my new E90. They state to use Soft 100% cotton
detail cloths or diapers also synthetic shammies too!

Diapers are 100% pure evil. Get MF clothes, or proper cotton polishing cloths. ultramicrofiber.com is where i got mine from - work better than cotton for applying and removing polish.

Another vote for MF....ultra plush from Waynestowels are absolutely fantastic. Also, he has a glass towel that actually works- it grabs stuff off the glass like you're claying it and won't streak whatsoever with Stoners glass cleaner.

And one more vote on the MF I wouldnt even consider touching my paint with a cotton towel you are just asking for scratches and if you have a black/ dark colored car beware because these little scratches will add up and become ugly swirls!
