Ceramic Coating Wheels
I purchased some wheels and looking to ceramic coat them. I'm trying to look at options of either having a detailer do it for me or do it myself and wanted to get input from you all. In your opinion which is better? If DIY any recommendation on products? Any and all input is appreciated.

Do it yourself. It's easy. Just clean your wheels with car soap. Polish out any scratches, wipe down with CarPro Eraser or equivalent cleaner then coat with a quality ceramic coating. I've used Opticoat, CQuartz, etc and my go-to ceramic is Gyeon. It's easiest for beginners but IMO looks better than Opticoat and lasts longer than CQuartz. I see they now have a Q2 Rim formulation specifically for wheels but I applied Q2 Pure and you can't tell my winter wheels just went through winter after a simple wash.
