Red face 3 series wheels on Z4

Will E90/92 non M wheels fit on a Z4, non M model?

What does the OEM BMW 18 inch wheel weigh on average?

Track use?

I was interested in tracking or autocross use of the Z4. Have you done this with the bigger tires? I did a couple of club runs and the car sticks pretty well on stock 17 inch wheels with Potenza RFT's. It seems to me that if going to 18" wheels weighs substantially more this will be counterproductive compared to using the 17's, as well as hard on the ball joints. etc.

I don't track my car so I don't have an answer for you. I can see how the ball joints may get more of a workout with the larger tires, but the stress of tracking the car would be likely more of a factor on suspension wear IMHO. As for weight, on my upgrade the overall increase in weight for all four rims/tires was 28.2 lbs. - and that was going from the stock 104s/16" RFT to the E92 18" Sport. The weight gain may be less going from the 17" wheels.
