Dinan 440i Exhaust and Mid Pipe
Hey all. Installed Dinan Mid Pipe and axle back today. For some reason the mid pipe would not fit in the middle so I had to cut and weld it in the middle which I really did not want to do. But other than that, all went as expected.
Exhaust sounds a lot better, have never heard the BMW sound kit but I think that may be tad louder form heading youtube videos. Definitely more sounds and pops and the full throttle shift sounds good. But over all the exhaust is not very loud for a down pipe back. The nice aspect is has very little drone and adds a bit more sound. I would say loudness level this is more of a moderate exhaust and one of the quieter downpipes back options. Quick clip. |

That MPPSK pop and bang is largely a function of the ECU vs the exhaust. I had stock exhaust with Dinan midpipe only and it sounded much like this added a Mission tune and pop pop bang bang in sport and sport plus and almost no pops/bangs in comfort (in both scenarios I had my flap permanently open) |
