BimmerCode BACKUP

Hey guys! I think I made a mistake while coding my car so I tried using the backup feature on my car and it doesn't seem to be working. Any help with this is appreciated!!

Tell us about the mistake... or what issue you are experiencing.

It should be easily reversible with enough details...

Soooo. I was coding my welcome lights. To fade in and fade out (soft on instead of hard on). With that, I somehow did something to make the welcome lights not come on all the time and idk what I did lol. I keep locking and unlocking the car and it will turn on and off but after a few times I do that, the lights don't turn on when I unlock it and lock it. So I tried go to a backup that I had and it said it loaded but when I coded the back up, it didn't work properly because the back lights still faded in and out (soft on). It's supposed to be hard on.

Okay...

So we need someone who knows the stock configuration (code) for welcome lighting, so you can input and start over essentially.

This may require going into expert mode and reading what is there to compare with what "should be there" and then making necessary changes.

Im not a coding expert and mostly stay in "basic" mode but Im sure someone can help...

Worst case... I will check what I see with my car and post it here for comparison.

I appreciate any help haha. I went into expert mode while doing all this. If I could see what it should be, I can go in and fix it. I'm really surprised my backup didn't work. :/
