Lease turn in question.

My lease is up in September, does BMW check out the car on the turn in date, or sooner? If its months sooner can I leave my M3 wheels on an bring the stock wheels in my truck for them to inspect?

You can do a pre-inspection anytime you want to see if your car will pass. It's not official until the day you turn it in though.

This.

Did this on my 328i lease a couple years ago and had to replace a few things (windshield and a tire....thank you, additional warranties ). They checked a couple rock chips too to make sure the depth/size was within the limits. I had them check the car 4 weeks before the lease turn-in date that way it gave me enough time to fix whatever I needed to and then hopefully a short enough window that nothing additional happened.

The only thing I can see on my car right now is a door dinged that just happened
No paint removed tho, will I need to get that fixed?

If it's a visible dent yes you will. but seriously no need to be worried as a paintless dent repair is like $50 if not less...

I dont know who wrote your lease, but from my experience, they usually allow certain amount of wear/tear/damage. This info is usually given to you when you lease, and/or a couple months prior to lease end.

Thanks, I probably get it fixed, it's the 1st thing a see when I walk to my car, and it bothers the hell out of me.

BMW will send you a lease inspection "kit", which includes a gauge to see how big dents can be before they need to be fixed. I found one with a quick google search:
