Dealer contribution on X3 M340

Anyone done better than a 5k dealer contribution on a new order X3 M340?
Just about to start the merry dance with the dealer and they have already put 5k on the table.
No mention of a BMW contribution and to be fair the figures are still too strong for me, but how much more they are willing to move will be seen in the next few days.

It's an M40, not M340 and with it an i or a d which might be helpful for the more knowledgeable people in this field in order for them to assist you.

Broadspeed quote around 6k discount, if we leave on the 29th factor in another 10% on the price quoted.

Apologies X3 M40i
Having looked in more detail at the offer, they are giving me nothing for mine, so the 5k contribution is likely to contain about 2K of my equity as I'm 12k miles below my PCP total.
F31 340 are going for well over 20k at the mo and mine does have some desirable options, so selling it privately may straighten the numbers.

I had a play on Car Wow at the weekend and got a 12.8% discount on a X3 M40d. Still over £50k with the options I selected.

My work mate just got a X3 M40d that was a showroom model. £59k list with options, paid £41K.

£449 down, £449 a month over 4 years on a PCP with 15K miles per year.

I thought that was quite a good deal...................

That deal doesn't add up. If you go to say the carwow PCP calculator and put those numbers in, then fiddle with the GFV and percentage APR to get the monthly you've said it comes out at:

£20K GFV (sounds a bit high to me for a 4 year old car)
1% APR (I dont think BMW are giving this low on X3's)

The APR on an X3 is about 4.9% and if you plug that figure in the GFV is £26K!

doesnt make sense, I dont think he is telling you the full story.

The GFV was about £25K, I was surprised at that. As I said it was a showroom model that had been in the showroom for six months and had to be moved. The figures are correct, I saw the documentation. He was just in the right place at the right time may be. It had to be registered on a 68 plate.

Actually, you are correct about the GFV. Here is TRL's deal:

BMW X3 M40d Sports Auto
Standard Spec car.

List Price £53,245 OTR
dealer contribution £6425
BMW contribution £1000
Customer Balance £46,000

Customer deposit £4750 then 47 x £479 plus GFV £25,114
based on 8000 miles pa
APR 4.9%

https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewto...b58925a0736d6f

But although that car is £5K more on finance than your mate's car, the deposit is £4750 and monthlies are more, and thats on 8K miles.

You will generally get a better deal on a showroom model, especially if they need to hit their Q1 figures.......

It's a very nice car. He went from a F31 330d and is delighted with it.

It's too big for me but at that deal I would have considered it for sure.

That's with £4750 depo. Ti Rich's mate put down £449.
