Evolve Stage 2 F90 M5 100-200kph 5.81

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
After putting a few thousand miles on our F90 M5, and having Supersprint develop a full exhaust, it was time for us to start tuning the car. Since the car has catless downpipes and Eventuri Intake, Stage 2 was the obvious choice to unleash the full potential of the stock engine hardware.

In this video we compare the dyno graph from stock to Stage 2, along with real world testing times and what it feels like on the road.

Our Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU tunes for the F90 M5 are available in house and remotely.

I haven't timed any of those yet. Will do when I get a chance. We prefer using in gear acelleration as a measure of performance as there is less variables.

Certainly would CARE A LOT to see 0-60 and QMile because that's our layman's language

Interesting to see that you guys dynoed the car in awd mode and comparing it to the f10 which was rwd. Would the dyno show more power if it was in rwd mode? Cant really compare awd to rwd when running on the dyno.

The car wouldn't dyno in RWD mode. Also I have timed the car 100-200KPH and it was slower in RWD mode on the road.

At the end of the day the dyno is only a tool to measure the delta of the modifications in the same conditions.

I agree. Out of curiosity, what happens when you try to dyno in 2wd ?

It kicks back into 4wd. May be different on another brand of dyno but thats what it did on ours which is a DynoDynamics and front and rear rollers are not linked.
