Hey gang, i heard that the M5C exhaust comes from the speakers from inside the car and it isn't the true exhaust sound. Does that make sense? (Like the masersti ghibli's)

All M5 do have active sound design. But there's also different outside sound because the competition does have the M Performance exhaust. Don't know if they have change ASD on M5C compared to M5.

M5 Comp has M sport exhaust, not M performance exhaust (separate, expensive option). Standard and M sport exhaust have active sound design. I have the M performance exhaust, and I don't know if the ASD is still enabled or not. At any rate, ASD can easily be disabled if desired.

Remove the Left Hand side (face the rear of the car) boot card and unplug the unit, 10 minute job. Someone on here posted with pictures.No links i am afraid.

Or buy the Carly for BMW app and dongle, and you can code it off

Those with the CE or M Sport Exhaust have an enhanced ASD (if installed from the factory). Its in the tech bulletin I linked below but I am not going to re-read that thing LOL

As vic stated above.
No, the comp does not have the M performance, which would be the titanium system. Just the sport system, which others have as well.(non-comp), it is an option for both.
