New car ordered
Following on from “What a shit day”
Replacement car has been ordered! Spec is as follows F31 330d S Drive Shadow Edition Mineral Grey Black Dakota Leather Pro Nav Plus pack Interior comfort pack Enhanced BT Folding mirrors Lumbar support Icon lights Reversing camera Speed limit display Full black dash 6wb Adaptive cruise control Leather dash Managed to get a slot that wasn’t spec locked for delivery in 6-7weeks. Tried to go for individual paint but that has now stopped on the f3x 3er. Was sad the last ones ownership was cut short, but the added spec on the replacement should be a nice place to be! |

Great spec!
Another advantage is the new one is two years newer so puts delays you buying a replacement by two years!

Heated steering wheel is part of interior comfort pack 😜
The reason I went f31 as with my other one been written off I’m without a car, doing 20k a year I didn’t want a cheap stop gap, then I’ve got to get rid off it (I’m the kind of person who can’t give stuff away!) discount is strong on the f31 at the moment, also looking at the g20 I wasn’t sure when the 30d would be out plus looking at the discounts I could get in a g30 cheaper than a g20. Tried a g31 didn’t like it, couldn’t gel with in just felt too big (given I’ve done 350,000miles in e87’s I’m used to smaller cars). Plus going f31 would allow me to get the spec just right. I tend to keep the car for a fair while, approaching 200k then my wife has it. |

Car is built and on its way to the port. Under three weeks from order to leaving the factory!
The other guy has finally admitted liability so the claim at least will be a non fault claim for us. |

The telephone then went with the conversation, car turned up, we are pdi-ing now, when do you want it? Looking at my diary I was struggling, the it was suggested yesterday afternoon, worked for me, so after a frantic 30 minutes of choosing number plates, confirming it was registered and then insuring it, I get on the train and picked the car up some 6 hours after it landed at the dealership 🤣

That leather dash looks the dog's ! Maybe I'll replace my current f31 335i with a 340i on run out. I really like the f31.
