No Remote 3D
When I log into connected drive on my smartphone and try to access 3D remote view it says it is disabled. I verified that it is enabled and called BMW Genius. Was informed that this is a known issue with the app. I thought it might be my phone. Is anyone able to access the 3D view with their phone?

Will this affect in any way the current profile? Use the same email but a different password?

I had this same issue. As advised by another member, I switched to the Guest profile in iDrive and then switched back to my profile. Then I made sure that remote view was enabled in iDrive. Then it worked.
One other member tried this recently and it did not work; however, it has worked for at least two of us. |

Since you just created the profile that should be fine but might as well try it. Go to Guest and then back to yours and make sure there are no login errors. Then go to Apps and do an Update Apps and Services and make sure everything is checked under data privacy. Then on your phone delete the BMW connected app and reinstall it.

I called the BMW Genius # and they said they are having issues with this feature. I'll try what you suggest tomorrow. Thanks.

I had the issue as well. It turned out that my husband was listed first on the account and had not completed his account set up by clicking the link in the email and so on. It took a call to the BMW Genius escalation team (4 Genius blamed on Apple) however, I also have an Android and was able to see it fine. So for Apple if there are two users the primary has to complete the setup. If it doesn't work I would make the call and get them to clean up the profile on their end. The remote camera is cool. So far I can see that every shop that says how much work they are doing on my car and why it is taking so long......It is because they are not doing anything. I would just love to flash them the photos but hey. All I can see is the car sitting and some people occasionally standing around it. I can only see it once per hour so maybe all the work is done in between the hour.
I am wondering if they can tell the car is taking a photo.
