Three weeks for a warranty work appointment!

Surely the above is not normal? I bought a car which unsurprisingly seems to have been through the used car check with Stevie Wonder.

London based dealers, but considering one element of what needs addressing is the tracking you would have thought they would be a bit keener to help out?

Or has the EGR recall swamped most dealers?

Car back from Stephen James (Woolwich) for some warranty work. Only had to wait 1 week for an appointment.

I bet the egr recall will have stretched most dealers quite a bit.

If you've recently bought the car, try going through your salesman. He might be able to put some pressure on the service dept to get it in quicker.

5 weeks for initial appointment, they fucked it up.
Another 4 weeks for the second booking elsewhere...
This was with the request of a loan car, otherwise it was 2-3 weeks. Subjectively safety related items, but didn’t speed anything up.

Seems as if it's normal then. Although I threw a subtle fit about some works being related to safety and would damage other parts if not fixed, that seemed to buck them up pretty fast.... going in on Monday. Let's see if the fix the issues now or whether it's time for my next fit 🙃
