Wheels and roof- opinion?

Planning on an M40i, frozen grey. My first roadster/convertible.

Opinion: 18in 798M wheels looks good. Do you think 19in 799M look much better? Any thoughts on real impact on ride quality?

Also, black top or moonlight/grey top? Most of the pics videos online are with black top.

Thx

Until some folks start driving the Z4 M40i with the 18" wheels vs 19" wheels, we really won't know for sure. That said, based on my winter setup (17" square) in my M235i vs summer setup (18" staggered), there would be a significant difference in ride quality. You have to ask which is more important, ride quality or looks and improved driving dynamics. With regard to the moonlight top vs black, I have the moonlight top on my M235i and i like it. The black looks good clean but I think it shows dust and dirt more, whereas the moonlight top tends to hide those issues better. I will opt for the moonlight top again on my next vert, whether it's the Z4 M40i or M440i / M4 vert.

I saw few option of colors with the two roof top tone.
Did not like the grey one even on the frozen grey.
(but i have a black one also in the 2 convertible).

Difficult tell about wheels , but i went (another time) for 19in 799M jet black
