Just saw this video on Youtube (not my car):

Several runs at top speed for a longer period of time.
Nice to see how quickly speed builds up and repeatedly...

Ha. Even if the US had roads that had no speed limits in some areas this could never happen. Too many idiot drivers and jerks that like to ride in the left lane even when they aren't overtaking any vehicles.

It's not really allowed here either, but people think they're the road police, and block you from passing on purpose if you're doing over the posted speed limit.

Awesome vid and was exhilarating! Fastest I ever drove on a track was at Pocono in a NASCAR @ 185 and on the highway 160, once governor kicked in (was much younger and stupid then). I've also personally driven on the Autobahn and Autostrada and they still do respect / move over for a high end vehicle, such as an M5. I even see this in NYC metro area more often than not, when I'm in the M5 or my Masi, where they will move over. If I'm in the wife's GLS, fat chance and in my '84 Porsche is hit or miss.

Wish I could really stretch out my M550's legs, it gets to and tops out at 160 way too easily.

In Texas, its mostly pick up trucks that hog the left lane, then cross 4 lanes to make an exit.
