Help me decide - Lowering springs..eibachs?
330d m sport rwd
Not looking for a super drop, just a stance to get rid of wheel gap without ruining the ride quality... I've been told eibach 25mm Is the way forward, opinions? |

I’ve just bought Eibachs for the X3, ACS have priced themselves out of the market, they wanted £494 for X3 springs! Got the Eibachs for £140 from Autodoc!
Only potential problem I can see with the Eibachs for your car is they lower about 10-15mm more than ACS, 35-40mm apparently: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/eibach/7016664 Last edited by teaston; 02-18-2019 at 06:38 PM.. |

iirc are there not two spring options with eibach which give two different levels of drop? Or am I mistaking them with another brand.
Just looked this up on eibachs site it is then with the two levels of kit there's SPORTLINE | Sport Performance Springs Extreme Performance Meets Extreme Style Race-Car Like Handling Lower than our Pro-Kit. Lowers Vehicle 1.7" - 2.3" (50 mm) Progressive Spring Design for Excellent Ride Quality Part of the Eibach B12 Sportline And there's PRO-KIT | Performance Springs #1 Choice of Automotive Enthusiasts Worldwide! World's leading Performance Suspension Spring System Engineered and tested to work perfectly with stock dampers First step towards a complete sport suspension system Lower center of gravity – lowers vehicle up to 40 mm Lowering = Traction + Attraction Progressive spring design Performance handling So 40-50mm depending which one always though the less extreme was 30mm not up to 40mm What's the ACS spring drop?

Also worth bearing in mind (i think) that if you have or plan to have certain low profile 20" tyres/rims and spacers, the lower of the two eibachs will limit your options, being too low

http://web2.carparts-cat.com/default...4279004&12=130 They don’t list the sportline ones. ACS is 15mm on M Sport |

I've recently fitted Eibach to my 340i along with eibach spacers. All bought from Autodoc. Best and cheapest place to get them.
I confirmed all part numbers through Eibach website. Having adaptive dampers and already slightly lower than "stock" with the m-sport springs, the eibach dropped the front 20mm and rear 17mm. Still only covered about 100miles since fitment, so giving it a bit more before confirming final drop. I did look at ACS springs, but they were just too expensive when I could get the Eibach's for around £150. |

Compared to my 335d the e91 was more comfortable over rough surfaces, which I find the 335d struggles to deal with. In fact I'm currently awaiting a B12 kit which will go on the 335d.
