Anybody else struggling with online services today..?? (RTTI etc)...

I signed up for remote services yesterday, but it won't enable. I called customer services they said services are due to be restored on the 14th Feb.

Mine just all stopped working today...

What I dislike about the system is the lack of ability to easily check service outages and/or status (at least as far as I can see)...

I tried using the app yesterday and it told me over and over I did not have a network connection despite being at home on my wifi.

Today I'm in the office and it's doing exactly the same.

Had it not connect with the app or access onto the connected drive website yesterday kept coming up with network connection error. Was working fine this morning tho. Probably just web/server updates. Really wish they would refresh the app and bring more function & features to it. Also why not allow proper route building on the map/nav to allow for round trip mapping with the ability to put in multiple stop offs sometimes site visits are not just A-B and could help schedule days/times better especially with RRTI and it would be great for planning road trips or driving holidays.

My online entertainment has disappeared. Rang BMW this morning and they said everything is ok at their end and to try updating services in the idrive menu.

Yeah i wish they would do that too!

I do the same multi stop route.... i.e home > nursery > work.... what i have done now entered a destination with a way point on idrive and saved it as a shortcut key on the radio... but now i’ve run out of numbers!!

Would be great if the app could plan routes and then using the recent destinations recall it.

That's a good idea but like you say a limited solution. It seems they have got a great system in iDrive being so user friendly in use but the map/software side is like always the limiting factor. It's those Bavarian bean counters again.

Mine was up and running again in the car this morning... and the app now seems to be working, too...

And the "support" is sh*te as well.
When there's a problem and I contact them, I want to talk to someone technical and knowledgeable - instead of which you get the frontline who are polite, attentive.... and useless. Bit like getting inundated with coffee and chat by a salespeep when you're trying to find out about a car in a BMW showroom

I think it has been down for maintenance, which involves putting a subscription expiry date on services you have paid for, for life already. Bless them.

Just called. Lady says all connected drive services are down. They are hoping it comes back within 48 hours. They said that 48 hours ago.

Yup, exactly the same, first my iPhone locked up, then I got back to my car after work, had the no signal screen finally driving home the weather disappeared and stuck on loading data. I called Connected Drive who told me that they had issues! Really...……………..

Then came home to find a large picture had fallen off the wall, smashed into a zillion pieces, sheared off a socket, dented my floor and broke the frame 😭
