Bmw approved accident repairs
Hi all,
Someone went into the back of my mrs this morning (on the only day she uses my car due to hers needing an mot) all going thru insurance as the driver that hit her was in a hire car. I’ve spoken to my insurance provider and they are suggesting I use their approved repairer over a BMW accident repair centre, am I being picky about not letting the approved body shop carry out the repair or should I push for an approved garage. |

If its the other party's fault, call BMW accident management, they then ring get an admission of liability from the other party, book you in with an BMW approved body shop and I got stuck in an M4 cabriolet for 3 weeks while they fixed it, no doubt billing the other parties insurance company for about £500 a day I expect. Berry BMW have a great repair centre and Chuch the guy who runs it is a complete diamond.

Don't think it matters if you have already spoken to your insurance company.
Non fault accident happened to me before Xmas, Admiral were trying to push me to one of their garages as they did not have a BMW approved in the area. I told them I would be taking it Sytner to keep my warranty in check with them, insurance had no problem with this. Wish I had spoken to Sytner sooner as they have a claims team who could've handled the whole thing. |

Spoken to the insurance and said due to the poor reviews of their approved garage I’d like to take it to an approved bmw accident repair centre. This was met with no resistance and have said I can have it repaired where ever I like and have waved the excess due to a certainty of non fault.

When I got hit from behind by a motorcycle I insisted on a BMW Warrantied repair. The at-fault party's insurer tried to push for one of their approved repairers but I simply instructed my insurer to refuse that route.
I had rear dash cam footage so liability was unquestionable. BMW did the repair and provided a warranty for its work.

This has just happened to me today.. my insurance has put me in touch with their approved repairer which turns out to be a back street garage. I didn't know I could insist of taking it to Approved BMW accident repair centre. I will be giving my insurance company (AA) a ring tomorrow to insist on taking back to BMW as so to keep my warranty intact.

Samsung was you at fault or the 3rd party? It hasn't cost me any extra as they are going to recover costs.
Our little girl was in the car and in her car seat and have been told to bin it and buy a new one and they will reimburse me within 5 working days! Our insurance is with esure and after this experience I can't recommend them enough they have been very easy to deal with. |

A15X it was the third parties fault run straight into the back of me whilst at traffic lights. It's been declared that I am not at fault and the insurance as waived my excess , I want to take to my local Bmw dealer in Nottingham ( sytner) to get it repaired.

Insist on a BMW repair. I got fucked over so badly by an approved garage and learned the hard way. The insurer wants to save money but you're within your rights and yes some reviews say it all.

Nice one I'll definitely insist on it being repaired at a Bmw centre, as we know it's not some Fiat panda that's been damaged it's a 40 grand car that needs repairing correctly.
