Hey guys! Just wanted to share some pics of my new daily. Picked up a new 2019 540i with M Sport package, Premium package, Executive package, Parking Assitant Package etc. Lovin’ all the options on the new 5 series. Plus the design of the interior/exterior. Glad I was able to find my first choice of colors Alpine white with Cognac interior. Already ordered the M Performance black grilles. We also have two more BMWs. My wife drives a 2018 X5 and we have a 2018 M3 Competition pack that I had built/ordered which is our weekend toy.

Wow, really nice. There's something about the white I really like. The black trim and even the black kidney grills all go great with white. Not so much on certain other colors. Congrats on a great choice. Nice M3 by the way... very unique blue you have there.

My M3 has the Silverstone interior which apparently is pretty rare because I had to order it. There wasn’t a single YMB with SS interior and the specs I wanted anywhere in the world (already built). So I ordered it and had it built. It’s more special that way anyways. Plus this was I got to do a Performance Center Delivery which was awesome!!

A few buddies have already asked me how they compare and it’s like you said such a weird feeling. The M3 is just pure untamed power where the 540 is refined elegance while still packing a serious punch. They both put a huge smile on your face. Both in their own special way. I love it!

My lease is coming to an end on the F10 and I am currently debating between the new G05 or the G30. I did consider the new M340 for a sec but I am just not that big of a fan of the design. The new A6 is also in the play but will most likely order a AW G30 w/ Cognac

My E92 M3 had silverstone interior which I had to custom order. To this date I have not seen another AW / SS in person on a E92. It is a great color!

Yes, I always said the same thing about black cars too, but I'm really doing it this time.

Plus, my neighbor has a black Mercedes E300 Sedan and it always looks pretty good, so that sort of influenced me.

Enjoy the 540 in good health, I am also switching between the M3 and the 540, great cars on opposing spectrum of comfort, drive feel and sophistication (or at least how performance is delivered).
Is your m3 manual or DCT?

Thanks bud! My M3 is DCT as my wife doesn’t drive manual and I wanted her to be able to enjoy driving it as well.

Nice E92! You’re right about the E9X in a AW/SS combo. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one in person either. Having an F15 ourselves I can say it’s an amazing vehicle and serves its purpose well. With that said it’s very different than the G30. Even though the new G05 has better performance than the F15 the vehicle has a completely different feel than the G30. So you may not like the size and bulky-ness coming from an F10. Personally I love driving our F15 on road drips or longer drives around town because I’m 6’2” 200lbs and I’m most comfortable in that car compared to the F80 and G30. But what you get from a G30 or F80 the F15/G05 will never be able to deliver. I hope all this made sense. Cheers!

Yes sir! Is that the M Performance gloss black spoiler on your G30? Also did you plasti-dip your 540i emblem? Did you do your garage floor and if so what product did you use?

Yes buddy, it's the OEM M Performance matte black spoiler. I purchased the gloss black 540i emblem from IND Distribution: https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=IND-G30-540TB. I had the garage floor done with epoxy coating with flakes.

Very nice! Gotta get that emblem too. It’s the only thing left on the car that’s chrome. What specific product did you use for the garage floors? Or did you have it professionally done? How come your handles have chrome strips on them?
