Help with weird sound coming from engine bay...

Hi Guys -

I'm having a weird sound coming from the engine bay when accelerating. Only way I can describe it is like a "kazoooo" when getting on it. Anyone run into this?

Turbo "whistle"?

Skip to about 35 seconds....is this what you're talking about?

I noticed mine a lot more when I went with intake/downpipe.

Sounds normal to me. How familiar are you with turbo charged cars?

Very familiar. This sound was never there and recently developed. You can hear it at 16 seconds of the video. It's a high pitched squeal. Hoping it's a boost leak from CP.

It does sound like this but the weird thing is I never had it before and is more prominent now in the cabin.

Just a quick update... It seems like the sound happens in 2nd gear then kind of disappears in other gears.

Just following up here. It turns out that the rear differential heat shield was loose and was making the noise. Hoping this fixes the issue but we'll see when I drive it back from the dealer later today.

I had a lower pitch sound that wasn’t there before when starting from 1-2 gears and also when coming to a stop; hard to describe the sound and it was not very noticeable. Technician located the sound coming from the AC compressor which they ended up replacing; everything sounds normal now.
