Front left suspension knocking
I'm getting a "knock knock knock knock" when driving out of full lock after turning either left or right and occasionally when braking/driving off at low speeds such as in a car park.
Its coming from the front left suspension area, but sometimes it sounds like its just off centre rather than all the way to the left. On one occasion, it sounded like the knock was actually moving towards the middle of the car while it was happening. Of course the dealer isn't open till Monday now for me to book it in and I'm going to spend the rest of the weekend stressing over it! Thank god for warranty. Anyone want to shoot me some suggestions or easy tests that would help narrow it down? I don't want to go into the dealer completely unarmed without any knowledge. |

Maybe the dealer forgot to remove the suspension shipping blocks?

I've read about that too actually. And my passenger side does sit a tiny bit higher than my drivers side too...
I'm booked in for 9 March (no courtesy cars available before then). I imagine it will worsen over the next few weeks and be easier to find/resolve by the time they look at it. |
