So Map 6 is custom ? So does that mean I can go to a tuner and have him set up map 6 ? And is maybe a burble setting possible on map 6 since its custom ? I have a bmw 340i with Jb4

Back in the day used MAP6 to custom tune my 335is with a COBB stack. Did it in conjunction with Terry starting with a base setting & modifying using e-mail to send logs & get feedback for changes from him.

Might have been a different MAP # back then, can't remember but it was the custom map feature. Have no idea as they are so big now if the do the same thing. Was testing features & firmware for the then new 335is N54 which had a different ECU then the standard N54. We also built a custom MAP 7 at the time as I had 100 octane available at the pump.

All that said, its not something I would screw around with on your own without someone very knowledgeable to view the logs as you can kill your car if you screw up. That means don't get advice from some "expert" on the internet.
