Should We Have a Thread for the Supra?
Now that the Toyota/BMW mashup Supra is finally revealed and is mostly a BMW parts car; (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, turbo, interior), should we view it equally as a BMW or at least in the family like Mini?
I know that BMW doesn't bespoke the transmission, suspension, brakes, or turbo, but these are the exact parts BMW uses in several cars. My feeling is that the new Z4 is a more mature expression of the mashup, with better engine tuning. However, the Supra has this youthful, tuner aggressive stance that I like and one or the other is likely to join my stable as a 3rd car. Thoughts? Would love to hear opinions from others.
