Attached are the road with uphills and downhills which I may have to drive from coming winter.

If the road is covered with 1-2 cm snow, can I make it through with xdrive+winter tires?

As well as any other similar car with awd and winter tyres, the quality and performance of the winter tyres will be the main factor, I'd choose wisely as that looks steep!

Yikes! That looks scary when thinking about it being snow covered. I would certainly drive extremely slowly and carefully if you can. I had an experience on a road like that many years ago outside of Denver CO. I lived at 8,000 feet in Evergreen, CO and commuted down to Denver every day (The only commute of mine in which my ears popped coming and going). I did not have four wheel drive but I did have a Saab 99 FWD with snow tires on it. It had snowed and my brother warned me to put chains on but I said I could make it down. Was coming down a long downhill straight that ended in a curve like that (not a sheer drop off but a slope down into the woods). Driving very slowly, but when I tried to slow even more with brakes nothing happened--the road was icy underneath the snow. Tried lower gear, more brakes then even locked the brakes and shifted into reverse! Wheels furiously throwing up snow but the car just kept on sliding towards the edge. Went back to neutral but slowly went over the edge into the woods. Fortunately I missed trees but ended up about 20 feet down the embankment in deep snow. Got out, got my shovel and started digging, enough to actually (and finally) put chains on. Was able to turn the car around and by repeatedly charging up and down the hill got it about 10 feet from the road, but it would go no further. By pure luck a County road grader came by and saw me. He had a 15' chain and we hooked it to the front tow hook and he dragged me out. I had to buy my brother a very nice dinner after that. Good luck on your commute. --Bob

2. Install a full roll cage and 5 point harnesses.
3. Mount studded Nikian Haakapellitta's
4. Attend a good rally school.

Follow the above steps and you will have more fun on your commute than you ever thought possible. 50 years from now, the memory will still put a grin on your face.
