Anyone try this Android auto/carplay retrofit?

This particular model uses the BMW mic, unlike the unichip box.

Has anyone tried it? I'm particular to Android auto.

I had one and I sold it. I bought it for the rear cam feature and the CarPlay was a bonus. Uses a harness that plug behind the NBT. Really easy to fit but I had issues with mine. Whilst installed I would lose all DAB reception and it wouldn't refresh or reload the stations until the car slept and awoke. I sold it and bought the OEM parts for reverse cam and now I've ended up with complete surround view in my F10. What I will say is the unit worked perfectly with regards to Apple car play. I had no issues with that aspect. I just preferred in the end to keep things OEM and CarPlay wasn't enough to make me want to keep it.
