90mpg - Highest average computer can go?
Hi all,
New owner of a 530e M sport, was wondering if anyone could tell me if their computer can show an average mpg over 90mpg?. 95% of my journeys are electric only and now that I have reached an average of 90mpg the computer wont go any higher! Thanks in advance, and also thank you to everyone for all of the useful information I have found so far on this forum. |

How many miles do you drive daily?

3 miles to work and back, and around 5 miles to get lunch. Did a 20mile drive yesterday almost on pure electric but need ice for last 2 miles. I charge at work all day and that gets me home, sometimes via some shops and then back the next day with a precondition.
Just don't understand why it stops recording anything past 90mpg! Is this normal or do some of you actually have it showing a reading higher than 90? |

Impressive mileage but if your driving on all electric then you have no mpg so where you'd you like it to go to. My 540i is showing 17mpg but only has 500 miles on it and that's very little highway miles.

After a month of learning about the car and enjoying trying different modes etc, I decided that I would reset the computer and start the 1st Jan with a full charge and a full tank and see how many miles I can get out of a tank. I had to use the ice a bit for a few journeys but then the holidays ended and I have been almost all electric since being back at work. The mpg would climb every day.... until I got to 90mpg.
Just trying to challenge myself really to see how high I can get it!, can always work it out myself. I have gone from driving like an idiot in my old 135i to driving like miss daisy in my Eco pro mobile lounge! |

The iDrive screen will only show up to 90 mpg. If you check the "eDrive" tab on your app, it will display "combined consumption" per trip, which will go higher than 90 mpg.

As a lead-footed driver of a 540iX G31 I've skimmed this thread with awe and wonder on something that I will truly never come close to experiencing in my car....
