My question is: Is M Performance Power Kit (MPPK) the same as a tune?

It is a bmw tune (more so ecu setting changed) that gives you small amount of power vs for same price you can get better upgrades.

How much does the MPPK cost now a days?

I saw it for around $1,000 at getbmwparts.com. that why I was wondering why is it so much more expensive vs some of these other tunes that are a few hundred dollars.

Lol because it is by BMW :P so you pay the BMW price tag plus you get to keep your warranty if anything happens.

MPPK is a tune, if it was not made by BMW it would have not been a popular choice since it costs a lot offer and offers so little.

You will get a lot more value for your money if you go with bootmod3
