Miro M6 Replicas are there any faults?

Some time in December, I am planning on getting some M6 replicas. I always loved those 5 spoke rims. The rims I have on are a nuisence to wash. My concern is buying aftermarket rims. I here that changing RFT tires to regular performance tires is like night and day, the comfort is much better. I noticed on Ebay that there are many of these 19" M6 replicas going around. The one I am looking for are 18" not the 19". I want to keep the comfort level at where it is. So what are the faults in buying after market rims? I really want those m6 replicas. I saw a few of the threads here and it is called the Miro M6 replicas.

Thats hilarious.

In general the Miro wheels are good quality wheels from a lot of people's experiences with them.

Give **********s a call. They are good people to deal with.

I'm not sure what you mean by faults but these are quality replicas. We've sold countless sets and rarely, if ever, ran into any issues with them. Feel free to contact us for a quote.

The Miro's seem to be good quality...so far so good. Mine needed a lot of weights for balancing. I would still suggest going to 19s..fill the space better and when going non-RFT, the comfort is very similar.

Go with the 19's man, you won't regret. By going to 19's and switching tires.....the ride is almost the same if not better. I love the way mine look as well. Like most people on here say......you hear alot of people regretting going with 18's but you never hear about people regretting going with 19's. Just my 2 cents. Call **********s....they have the ET-33 offset that is made specifically for the e92. I'm not aware of anyone else on the forums that carries them with the ET-33 offset. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Any vendor that carries these M6 reps should have ET33

OP- as far as I know, we're the only one in the country with ET33 M6 left in stock so feel free to contact us for a quote.

I have always had experiences with OEM and never bought aftermarket feering quality issues. Since the real OEM of the M6 isn't available for fitment that is my only alternative, a replica. Thank you all for your responses.

I had one wheel that required a lot of weight and did not balance completely (heavy spot). Given my initial fiasco in receiving the wheels, I didn't want to deal with getting sending the wheel back and waiting for a replacement.

Last replica wheel for me.

Ha..seems to be 1 on mine too, but it does balance.

I purchased mine through Jlevisw and everything went well. I've had them since the spring and have not had any issues. I think the ride quality is just as good with my 19's, as it was with the 16's on runflats! Oh and stock cost about $4000 more, not worth it to me

Well Lets say if it's NOT TUV, DOT, or JWL certified (stamped on the wheel not some bullshit piece of paper) then you're putting your safety in the hands of some unknown Korean, American, or Chinese made hunk of aluminum.

With Name brand wheels, I-Forged, DPE, even cheapo Breyton's at least there is a corporate presence and a bit of accountability. With off brand small name "replicas" you're on your own. The foreign foundries won't be held accountable, and good luck finding a responsible party to be held responsible. You can sure as hell not count on the web "dealers" to stand on the carpet and be held accountable.

So, a different view would be that if MIRO wheels are NOT TUV, DOT, or JWL then they are not to be trusted and I sure as hell wouldn't fit them to anything I need to count on.

Just as a counterpoint... Not saying MIRO is Crap, I am saying that if they aren't TUV certified then there is no way in hell I'm running them on a car driven aggressively. FWIW

It could have been that we were out of stock that we simply didn't have them at the time. The ET33 actually didn't come out all that long ago.

You are correct, the et33 design came from us working with Miro. No one had them - they were our sizing that we saw with Rixster's car that now all manufacturers are taking on for their vehicles. They wheel offsets are now available throughout -we've had them for about a year now.

Anyway thanks guys for the support. We can definitely help you out, we are the largest distributor of Miro wheels in the country. As to the wheels quality they will hold up great and for their inexpensive price - you really can't go wrong even to replace one wheel isn't going to cost a fortune like it would with some forged wheels.

Anyway let us know we'll be happy to help.

Definitely a great wheel setup for any E90 / E92 vehicle. So far, Miro Wheels is sold out of the +33mm offset rears, but I do have one set here, in which a customer decided not to purchase. I have the last set until the container comes in the middle of August, so let me know if anyone is looking for a great set of wheels!!

So when winter comes around, you guys might not have a set of staggered Miro M6 rims?
