Total price for a new F90 M5 engine

Finally got my car back today. A new installed engine for this car is $56k so very glad my insurance paid for it.

Still need to do another 1200 mile service but now at 10,300 miles and no the odometer does not reset to 0.

I wasn't even able to powder coat my wheels since the shop had an issue with their oven but I'll do that in the coming weeks.

The Phoenix is the new name I have given this car!

Congratulation!!!
You pick a great name for it too.

I guess DMV doesn't allow the miles reset.
Because technically you are at 0 miles with that engine.

I wonder what happens on resale? The vehicle has 10,000 miles but engine has 0.

That's why I lease my daily cars just in case something like this or an accident happens since I drive so much. If ever the resale tanks for one reason or another it's BMW's problem

I drove the RS last night to dinner in the rain and on slicks . Just was really stoked to drive it.So far it feels a lot more comfortable than the weissach package I owned a few months ago. Not sure why but suspension doesn't feel as harsh on bumps and bad roads.
Not sure about speed since It was wet an if you can feel the weight gain compared to the weissach car since i obviously could not push it in anyway however I highly doubt there will be anything Different.

I think W changes the sway bars to CF, etc...probably makes it stiffer in the ride....plus the bushings, etc...Now you have the most powerful 911 with some added comfort...very cool.

New engine...what's the backstory on this? Was it in another accident? Details?

Did you tell them to put the oil cooler on top this time with a hood scoop like a Subaru!

Some more pics of the widowmaker. I got to drive it some more today and it's a lot more comfortable around town. Puts the power down better on tougher pavement which I'm sure is due to softer suspension bits.
It's awesome. Keeping this one for sure!

I'm assuming you have somebody you like to work with at BH Porsche? I think I'm going to order a 992 and that's by far the most convenient dealer for me but every time I walk in there I walk out disgusted with the attitude of the place.

Congrats on the widowmaker btw. Unbelievable car and spec is on point for a car that wild.
