2020 X3 Release Date

When was the 2019 released? Or when we're orders accepted?

I think around 1 Aug was the start date for the 2019's. I was negotiating quotes and had several dealers state around the end of July that no new orders for 2018 were being accepted. I'm sure it's officially listed somewhere, but haven't checked for it yet.

Same reason you guys worry about reg numbers. Except MY actually equates to changes/refreshes, etc a lot of the times.

I have a personalised number plate, so don't care about new reg's at all!

MY19 X3's actually lost spec compared to MY18's though didn't they? The boot floor strut was deleted anyway.

Yes, but the M40i gained the M Sport steering wheel.

That is a worthwhile upgrade! It's crazy that they ever supplied M40's without MS wheel in NA!!

In the UK the MY19 lost the boot floor strut but gained a petrol particulate filter and the M diff.

Swings and roundabouts.

What is the benefit from particle filter? Except for being Eco friendly?
M diff is gained just for M40i?

In the US, they gained a lot of the auto safety features as standard.

Apple CarPlay became a subscription though. That's just an obscene money grab move.

Actually MY 2020 will have quite a bit of change.
It will get new dash and updated engine (B58TU).

Thanks - I understand they want to keep up with Audi, but it's way too busy. I don't need the Nav here again when I already have that on center screen, and Nav also gets duplicated on HUD when needed...

Tach also goes counter clockwise to match the reversed "C" shape, not a fan of that either.

I much prefer the relative simplicity of my 2019 X3 M40i. Round dials is my style.

Yep, I was contemplating waiting for ID7, but as it comes with that dodgy digital dash I think the current setup is better!
