Wheel protection - dust
So I have four winter wheels waiting to put on a new car when it arrives next week. This seems like an ideal opportunity to protect them with some spray. I have from past the Armorall wheel protector - which is kinda OK. Anyone have any other magic potions that are totally awesome and just like repel any dirt/brake dust they encounter? Bonus points for it an application lasts over winter ;-)
There must be something like this, I mean Pillkington glass make (supposedly) dirt repellant glass so... |

Chemical Guys Wheel Guard is what I use. Lasted over a year with weekly washes on previous vehicles... Repels dust very well...

I use Adam's ceramic boost. It's easy to apply, durability has been good, and has made it a lot easier when cleaning the wheels during basic maintenance washes.

I ended up getting this stuff
G5 techniq ceramic stuff. I was a bit wary about something which you only apply a few drops and wipe over the surface, but then I remembered I use this kinda shit all the time on my snowboard (zardoz) which is awesome. Time will tell over winter - I'll report back on it's status in a couple of months :-) |
