traffic court advice

so im going to my court date monday for a speeding violation. 60 in 30 $375 ticket with carrying at least 4 points. He seemed to have paced me since my V1 didnt make a beep. Im going to go admit guilt and hope the judge reduces the fine and points. This is my first ever offense so that increases my chances (fingers crossed). any advice on what i should say or should not let me know. thanks!

Jesus you're lucky you didn't get nailed for reckless driving (double the limit). I'd just say from having had my run in's and a suspended licenses for a few months in my younger years to just be very VERY respectful to the judge, admit that you were wrong but don't make any excuses for your actions (like you were late or you were on the phone or something) and ask for some sort of driving school/reduced point type deal. You'll most likely have to pay your fine in full though.

has anyone ever had the "cop didnt show" actually happen
im pretty sure he will be there. he actually recommended me to go to court and try to get the fine and points reduced.
