Window creaking when fully closed (F30) (yes I searched)

OK guys, help a dude out! I tried searching and do not really find the exact same thing as what I am looking for...

Both my front windows have started creaking very loudly as I drive. I thought it was my door seals but it's not. It only occurs when the windows are fully closed. If I open them even slightly it goes away. So it's the channel where the windows seal closed...

It's not my tint either... I've had the tint since I got the car in April and never had this problem. It just started occurring.

Any suggestions? I know with seals I would lubricate/make sure they're moist but don't know what to do here....

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

there should be a service advisory at the dealer for this; If it’s still under warranty take it in, they will fix it. They will either replace the seals or run a thin layer of transparent tape by the seal to silence it.

hmm I didn't find any TSB's for the 2018 models when I searched. You or anyone else know a link to it?

thanks in advance!

You might want to check your B-pillar trim. I had a similar issue (but it was more of a rattle) that happened only when my windows were all the way up. You can see what I did in my log.

Dealer replaced the inner seal rubber and installed Teflon tape on driver door. Problem solved.

This is a known issue and it seems to be happening with the M Sport 330. I had a 2017 330 M Sport and same thing. It progressively got worse too. The dealer had been submitting the issue to BMW but there was no fix yet. They replaced all the seals and did the lubrication routine. It quieted down for a while and then started back up again.

Rolling the window down takes the pressure off the door. It gets particularly bad over some bumps and turning up over a curve. Seems to be a mix of excessive chassis flex and rubbing against moldings that come with the M Sport but I'm not 100% sure.
