Part for Leak

Found the leak it is a connection that is not sealing, called BMW Dealer and was told had to order from Germany ( not a single one in USA) about a 1-1 1/2 , and was told BMW is fast with get new models out to sell but they have not parts out to the dealers yet , hard to belive they would do this !!!

Other than basic maintenance items like oil, oil filters, wiper refills, etc., I don't think BMW keeps any parts in stock in the US. Seems like they always have to come from Germany. And that includes many, many parts that are actually made in the US. Seems like a waste of money. But they no doubt have some kind of logic that they believe saves them money. So what if we here in the US have to wait 2 weeks to 3 months for parts to come from Germany.
Bet they would change their tune if somehow, their largest market (US) for their vehicles stopped buying their products.
