Anyone have the spare tire option?

If so, can you confirm if you still have the spot to store the cargo cover by where the tire is?

I ordered the spare and should have the car in the next few days. We were supposed to pick it up today hit it wasn't on the carrier. Crossing my fingers for delivery tomorrow. ETA was today! I'll snap some pics and post them once it's in.

The cargo cover holder is elevated and in front of the where you would store the doughnut. So it should not interfere.

There is a space for the cover to fit in front of the tire.

How much of a mess does that tire sealant make inside the rim and tire? Is the tire toast after you use the sealant or can you still get a hole repaired?

99.999 percent sure it will fit. I don't own a g05 to check for you.

On my old X3 m40i the spare wheel cleared the msport brakes.

The online configurator lets you pick both options.

I was able to order both together so would assume it fits.

That is so clever and nice that the lights illuminate the spare tire area when the cover is up.

I did not order this option. If the spare fits over the M sport brakes, maybe I would get one after I get the G05...

In that pic it appear that the spare fits beneath the standard cargo floor, so luggage space is not compromised like on the X3. Is this the case?

Thanks. Lack of a spare has been a concern for me since buying my F25 X3 seven years ago. Thankfully I've never needed it, but it always bothered me. Until yesterday I was considering a X3 M40i, but then I drove the X5....
