Help on modifying the exhaust tip X3 30d

Hi there,

I will be receiving my brand new X3 30d in about 2 weeks or so and am considering replacing the exhaust tips which I do not really like by a 2X2 carbon fiber exhaust tips like this one.

Can owners of the 30d help me out and tell me what is the inlet diameter of the exhaust tip is?

I've seen on etkbmw that the oem chrome tip is removable.

If any of you guys have done similar mod, please let me know which brand you went for the exhaust tips.
