Fog Light Leds - Color Change

Do we know if you can change out the white Leds for Yellow Leds for the Fog Lights? It would be European-style cool if we could do so

Anything is possible. If you can find a replacement LED. Most likely they are going to be SMT. Finding some to match the same specs may be difficult....

I want to do this as well but haven't found any information about the bulb type yet. One of these days I plan to take the fog light housing out and check the bulb but if anyone else can chime in the meantime that would be great!

6k headlights with 3k fogs is my jam

Consider something like this:

https://www.lamin-x.com/precut-film-...covers-1859028

Simple yellow film. My last car was a MKVI Golf R and a lot of people put the yellow film on their bumper LED DRLs. Looks great and is easily removed. Also cheap.

I used that stuff on my e36 back in the day then had 3K fog lights in my Evo and was really sold on proper bulbs. The Evo also had HID fogs so its not a fair comparison but proper bulbs will definitely perform better.

Its also worth mentioning the yellow bulbs probably won't even be noticeable when they aren't on where the film is always quite visible which may be a motivating factor for some of us.

Good point. My car will be Glacier Silver so the yellow film will def stand out....especially when I remove all the shiny silver stuff from the grill, side vents, emblems on hood and trunk
