Ceramic Pro 9H

I have a photonic blue 2018 X3. I am planning on a ceramic coat, silver pacakage. I got a quote for $900 for the entire car.
Wondering if it’s worth it?

Dang, that's really cheap. If it's a certified Ceramic Pro installer, I'd def go for it. I think it's definitely worth it.

I did my own, I applied 3 coats. After 10 months I have decided that for the future I will stick to using my Rupes with Sonax Perfect Finish and a nice quality wax to complete the beautification.

Try this first - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CE03HYA...v_ov_lig_dp_it

It gets RAVE reviews and it's a $34 risk

Application not bad, esp. on brand new vehicle. You need good lighting.

$900 is a good price, i got about $800 but did not proceed as just did the Xpel job on the hood, bumper and fenders. Still 1 week into the xpel so awaiting any pending issues, hopefully none. Might end up DIY.

I paid $1500 for silver+ in northern california bay area. I’ll never do a clear-bra again, but so far this coating has been totally worth it. Everything just falls off.

I am about to do a full GTechniq Crystal Serum Light job on our new 2019 XC90 that we picked up yesterday. I will be doing it myself (first time). I am hobbyist detailer with experience correcting paint, etc. so feel up to the task. Doesn't seem too hard.

Crystal Serum Light is good for 3-5 years and one of the best coatings out there. Only put a single coat. A lot put a topcoat of GTechniq EXO on top to improve water repellency... I won't be doing that.

I will report back if all goes well with the XC90. I plan on ordering a M40i in the next month or so, so chances are it will get nano-coated as well.
