How to change highbeam bulb?

This is for all my 30i homies. We got shafted with a halogen high beam! It literally has less visibility than the low beams. Does anyone have the instructions for how to change the bulbs?

I've got 30i, but with adaptive headlights which means they are LED allround. What does the manual say? Mine just say take it to the dealer/garage.

what did you get specced on your x3 30i? I also got the adaptive headlights (not iconic) and I've ready numerous places the only part that isn't LED are my front turn signals.

I have the full icon(ic?) LED headlights in the USA, which from what I read here (forum) are not adaptive because of USA laws. My wife and I the other night were both of the opinion that the brights could be a lot better, in range especially.

I have the led headlights with cornering. I have leds for the low beams but don’t have leds for the high beams in the US. You need the iconic ones for that.

I feel kinda duped because the dealer I bought it from said I had full led lights.

Double checked and In the US you can’t get led high beams without the iconic lights.

In the US, the "adaptive headlights" refer to the left-right swiveling of the headlights as you turn the wheel, as well as the cornering lights that come on when you make hard left-right turns (you have this).

The US laws currently prevent the adaptive high beams from being enabled, although there is hope that will be allowed soon:

The US only gets on/off "automatic high beams".

Yeah it says to take it to the dealer even though it’s a halogen bulb. So annoying! Who the f uses halogens on a 50k car!
