Tire size question..

My car right now has 225-40-18 8 front and 255-40-18 8.5 rears. I plan on getting a new set of 18'' but they are 8's all the way around. Can I still used the stock staggered set-up? 225-40-18's in the front and 255-35-18 in the rear?

Hmm ... are your sure you have 255-40-18 rears? Stock is 255-35-18 rears. If you do, can you post a picture of your set up? Am interested on how the 255/40/18s fit in the rear and how they look on our car. Thanks

So what is the max tire size I can put on that? Or the recommended size? Thanks!

Yea, a 255/35/18 is a tad too wide for a 8" wheel. Minimum recommend width is 8.5". Why are you getting new wheels that are narrower than your OEM sizes? We offer our VB3 wheels in 18x8.5", and you can use them on all four corners with your staggered tire sizes.

245/40/18 is the largest you should put on a 8" wide wheel.

i'd say 235 would be the widest and that'd be stretching it a bit

I'd suggest you run 235 all-around since the wheels are 18x8 all around.
