Hub Nut dust/corrosion cover

This is only a little tongue in cheek, but after dealing with rusted hub nuts and stubborn axle splines, I decided that my car needs all the corrosion protection it can get. I decided to make some dust covers for my brand new wheel hubs and used..........

a modified center cap for our wheels. I gave the new hub nut and inner hub flange a generous coating of axle grease and popped the cap in place. It holds firmly annnnnd......

fits nicely under/inside the wheel. looks kinda strange like that....

a little redundant, maybe.....

there we go....

Ill let you know it goes midway through the winter, but Im hoping this will solve the rusty nut issues....and we all hate rusty nuts.
