So the M8 rear bumper on these prototypes seems strictly identical to the M Sport bumper, with the exception of a rear apron swap allowing for a sportier diffuser. Actually even the regular M Sport apron would probably do as the quad exhaust pipes would conveniently fit into the voids left by the two large rectangular pipes.

In other words, unlike the M8 Gran Coupé which had a specific rear bumper with larger side vents going higher up until the trunk opening line.

Yes, these are still prototypes, but wouldn't they already be testing the final production body parts at this point?

also to notice, that non-M sport 8er GC will have a lot different exhaust line, something that resembles to 7er pure excellence design, just flipped upside-down..

Sonic Speed Blue was actually introduced in the final years of the 6er.
It has been carried over to The 8.

Great color. Snapper Rocks is nearly as ugly as the name.

Yes that has been carried over directly from the Vision Future Luxury Concept

nice catch.. still have to wait for official images..

looking at the front end pf this Vision Concept, and comparing it to some picturrs of LCI 7er for 2019, with Alpina styling which i found on Wilcoblok instagram profile, new 7 and Vision looks almost same, big grilles, squary thin headliggts, bumper has almost same lines, am i right?

I really hope that they are not making the rear bumper less aggressive. The reason I want to buy this car is because of how the concept looks. Please BMW don't change it.

Or It could just be that this prototype being used has the MSport bumper on.

Indeed the 7er will finally match the VFL closely, as it's always been supposed to

840i Gran Coupe

Cannot wait to see it in real and get my hands on it. My 5 year old 640I Gran Coupe ready for a serious upgrade even though it is clearly the most beautiful BMW ever produced.

I love how the 8GC looks, but I really wish that it could have a hatchback like the Audi A7. That would make it 1: Sexy 2: Sporty 3: Super Useful.
