OEM wheel questions...
I have a 2008 335i e90 with M sport package that came standard with the 194 style 17" rims.
1) Do these have separate TPMS sensors in the wheel or are they part of the valve stems? 2) If I get a different set of BMW wheels (thing of either either 193 or 199) can I transfer the sensor from my old wheel to new wheel? 3) Can I transfer the centercap? 4) What is a good place to buy OEM wheels? So far the best place I have found is CircleBMW--any place better than them (only interested in OEM wheels). |

1. The TPMS is attached to the valve stem inside the tire. You must dismount the tire to remove the TPMS
2. Yes, you can transfer the sensors. 3. Yes you can transfer center caps from different OEM BMW wheels to other OEM BMWs. 4. Tischer BMW seems to be a good online source.
