Opinions Please: Best All Season non-RFT Tires
Would love everyone's opinion on this one, I'm looking to replace the OEM summer only, RFTs on my soon to be delivered 328i with sport package.
What is everyone's top pick for a high performance, all season, non-RFT replacement? I'm in the Washington DC area that gets occasional snow but nothing serious. My current top contenders are: - BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S - Continental ContiExtremeContact - Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (Had on my GTI and loved them) - Yokohama ADVAN S.4 Also, who will have the best price?

After reading BMW owner reviews on Tirerack, I think I'm favoring the Michelin and Goodyear tires

i agree. if you're going to get new RFTs, they have to be summer or nothing. i have conti RFTs (12,000 miles) and they feel like regular summer tires. great!

I assume that you plan or running 17" or 18" wheels. From my personal experience, I really like the Conti Extreme Contacts. Had them on my Audi and just put them on my daughter's' Lexus. Great tire. IMHO, the Michelins are not worth the extra money. Queston: Have you considered Pireilli P zero neros M+S A/s tires. They were also considered a great A/S tire by the Audi crowd.

I'm running the OEM 17" staggered size that come on the 328i sedan with sport package.
The question of whether the michelins are worth the extra $ is a good one. The reason I went with them on my GTI was because the OEM MXM4s that came on the car lasted 80k miles and I'd rather pays little more for a tire that will go to a higher mileage, but i've never owned a set of Pilot Sport A/S and driven all the way to bald. I have thought about the Pirelli's but heard they don't last as long as the Michilens. Also tirerack doesnt seem to sell them in the size I would need so I couldn't really compare.
